How does Electrolysis work?
Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method of PERMANENT hair removal.
A very fine sterile probe is inserted into each individual hair follicle sending a localized electrical current to the growth centre to destroy the stem cells and blood supply that allow the hair to grow. You may experience a heat sensation or mild sting from the current which allows the hair to detach from the follicle and slide out with the aid of tweezers.
Is there any discomfort during an Electrolysis Treatment?
You may feel a slight “sting” like sensation with each follicle being treated. The skin may feel warm after treatment. In most cases, clients tolerate the treatment well. However, you may wish to apply an anesthetic cream such as ‘Emla’ to numb the area 30min prior to your treatment.
How long is each session?
Treatment time depends on the area being treated and the amount of hair present. Hair on the chin for example may take anywhere from 5-15 minutes. Treatment may be required on a fortnightly or monthly basis to target hair at its growth phase.

Laser is FDA approved for permanent hair REDUCTION. Meaning you will have less hair than you started with, but you will still have hair! Laser DOES NOT work on individuals with blonde, red, grey, or white hair! Laser only works on Black hair - Electrolysis works on all skin types & all hair Colours!!!
