The Flour House is different...

We realised a long time ago the importance of giving our customers more visibility of where their grain comes from.

In todays fast paced environment we sometimes eat without the knowledge of where or how our food is made.

We strive to produce bread and pastry that is not only delicious, but nutritionally dense.

At The Flour House we do this by milling locally sourced Victorian grain, using our stone mill we imported from Europe.

So who benefits?

  • Our customer gets a more nutritious product, because we use fresh wholegrain flour.
  • The Farmers benefit because we are able to pay more for the grain.
  • We benefit because we are able to offer our customers the most incredible bread and pastry available, you see we can mill our grain course, medium or fine, wholegrain, rye, spelt or any grain we choose, which give us creative freedom to be truly unique, and offer you a grain to table approach.

Q Is everything baked fresh and onsite?

Yes, everything is baked fresh at 3 Graham Road, sometimes only minutes before you receive it, quite often it is still warm.
We also mill our own flour from locally source grain from Victorian Farmers.
