Food by Shykha is a registered home-based catering business in Mentone. I’ve taken over a family run business that was set up by my Dad, who is now a retired chef. We want to share our world with you through the colours and flavours of our country! My Dad’s name is Shyam and my name is Upekha, hence Food by Shykha!
Everything I know, has been handed down through generations of cooking styles. I have taken on board all the teachings from my family and created a style of cooking that is my own. With my Dad’s influence behind the dishes, I create a  feeling of home, family and comfort through food!
We have a weekly menu that we release every week with freshy cook, homemade Sri Lankan food. We work on a preorder basis, simply just heat and eat!
We don’t just do Sri Lankan food, we have a variety of western dishes too. We can cater your event with flavours from around the world!
