COLLABORATING TO ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE!
A couple of weeks ago – Renae and Scott from Wolf of the Willows in Mordialloc had a group of senior hospitality staff visit them for a private tasting as part of a Melbourne Good Food & Wine junket. To enhance the experience, they invited Matt from Boatrocker Brewery & Distillery in Braeside along to also provide a tasting and chat to the group.
These two breweries met through the Kingston Collective and our newly formed Bayside Beer Belt network.
We LOVE this because they are in the same industry, selling the same type of products BUT they have their own USP (unique selling position) and celebrate being part of the local craft beer scene. Working together provided a greater experience for the guests, built on the two businesses relationship and promoted the local area together – enhancing their local market!
A rising tide lifts all ships – meaning by working together in collaboration, the benefits are far greater than working alone. In this instance, Wolf of the Willows were able to enhance the tasting experience for their guests by having two breweries present, guests were able to taste a wide range of products, they had two learning experiences and they left with a happy experience that will only encourage return patronage.
There are SO MANY benefits to collaborating with other businesses.
We have so many more member stories of collaboration to share with you! Stay tuned.
